Dr. Saskia Vaughan and Paul have made their home in Mineral Wells since 1989. Their son Ryan was born in 1990. Their youngest son Cole was born in 1993.
She graduated from Texas A&M in 1984,and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1989. Dr Vaughan is an active member in the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In order to provide the most up to date dental services, Dr. Vaughan is committed to continuing education above and beyond that required by the Texas State Board. On July 30,2011, Dr. Vaughan became a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. This is one of dentistry's most prestigious career goals. In order to receive this award, Dr Vaughan completed 1,100 hours of continuing education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled twenty years of continuing membership with the AGD There are more than 100,000 general dentists in the country and less than one percent of those are Masters with the AGD.

A special interest of Dr. Vaughan is foreign missions. Since 2001 she has annually traveled to the Dominican Republic with Medical Ministries International, providing dentistry to children and adults who have no access to medical care.
In her free time Dr.Vaughan enjoys watching her sons' basketball, football, and baseball games, reading, exercising, traveling, and singing in her church's choir.
